Editor’s Note

All the words that I utter,
And all the words that I write,

Must spread out their wings untiring,
And never rest in their flight,
Till they come where your sad, sad heart is,
And sing to you in the night,
Beyond where the waters are moving,
Storm-darken’d or starry bright.
– W.B. Yeats

EACH time we come together to create the Bryant Literary Review we encounter a different adventure. We get the great pleasure of listening to literary voices from all around the world, living their narratives through the sounds, sights, and smells they choose to transcribe. The enlightening prose and gut-busting tales from the diverse writers we publish bring us back year after year.

For the three of us, and for as many years, the Bryant Literary Review has become a staple in our school year. Here, we have explored the power of voice and contributed to a legacy of literary tradition. We’ve invested tears, love, and laughter into this edition, and we’re delighted to share it with you, our readers.

The stories, and poems in this edition have been curated with careful consideration, in order to represent our vision of a diverse, entertaining, and progressive literary review. We commend those who are brave enough to put pen to paper and thank you, our readers, for your support. We hope you enjoy the poems and stories as much as we did.
